Florida House Bill 575, when it becomes law, will eliminate the need for developers to provide a hard copy of the Public Offering Statement and other contract documents at point of sale, under certain circumstances. While electronic documents are acceptable when buying a house or car, not being provided a hard copy of a timeshare contract is unacceptable. There have been numerous reports of being provided an electronic device that either doesn't contain the required documents, or the cheap electronic table provided doesn't work. Good luck trying to obtain a hard copy while on vacation or from contacting the corporate office.
