Meet Our Board
Sheilah Brust, Board President & Treasurer
Sheilah Brust retired from the New York State Governor’s Office of Employee Relations, where she worked for 18 years. Prior experience included 18 years in private industry. Community involvement involved 10 years coaching grades 7 through 12 cheerleading at the local high school. Currently, Sheilah works part-time, preparing tax returns for a New York company. Sheilah and her husband have owned timeshares since 1984.
Sherida Nett, Secretary
Sherida Nett has a BFA in Visual Art. For 20 years she home-schooled her five children, which included Market Gardening through a Farmer’s Market Association in Duluth MN.
Sherida and her husband are still Market Gardeners supplying produce to the local community and grocery stores. As a writer for a local newspaper, she wrote feature articles and a faith column called Through God’s Lens.
She holds a Florida Real Estate License and currently works as a Transaction Coordinator for True Timeshare Realty Inc.
Branden Boyak
Branden Boyak has worked in the electronics industry for over 40 years. He began his career in the U.S. Navy and has been in the industry ever since. Branded has been involved with many facets of the industry, from Military Defense for surface ships, In-Flight Entertainment for commercial aircraft, and missile defense to help major contributors in the industry select the right component for the right task in space or under the ocean and even creating new components necessary to complete the task.
Christine Bulot
Christine Bulot was born in New Orleans, LA. She attended the University of New Orleans to obtain her BS and MS in biology and genetics, respectively, and Ph.D. in biomedical sciences from Tulane Medical School. She currently oversees clinical labs in the state of Texas, adores animals and rescues whomever she can.
Janie Workman
Janie Workman and her husband are dedicated timeshare owners of both legacy and points, and they love to travel and utilize all of them! Growing up, my family moved from coast to coast and north and south. I have visited all 50 states and a few countries in Europe, Asia, Central America, and the Middle East. I’m a retired IT consultant who has lived in Northern California for over 40 years. I have been involved with timeshare since 1977 and have extensive knowledge of different timeshare systems and their strengths and weaknesses. I’m currently engaged with various advocacy groups, helping timeshare owners achieve their goals.
Irene Parker
Irene Parker retired from Edward Jones after opening the company’s first Big Island Hawaii office. She then volunteered her time as a CASA worker before becoming a paid supervisor, writing and editing court reports on behalf of children in foster care in an effort to help judges and interested parties make the best determination for the child’s outcome in state care. CASA volunteers are the child’s voice in court. She also served as the manager for Duval County, Jacksonville, Florida Senior Vs Crime office, a special project of the Office of the Florida Attorney General. Irene holds an MBA and a CFP (inactive), and a Florida real estate license.
Jake Bercu
Jake Bercu was a Management Consultant for companies seeking a tight integration of staff, technology, and processes to achieve excellence in planning and execution. Seeking new experiences while traveling led us to the timeshare Industry. For the last fifteen years, I have worked to elevate and restore the value proposition for legacy resort deeded Owners, while watching the Pure Point Systems overpromise and underdeliver, blemishing the entire timeshare industry. As President and Treasurer of Tahoe Beach and Ski Resort, a Non-Profit organization, I have been a strong proponent of protecting our resort and others legacy resorts from takeovers by For-Profit organizations.
Sammy Kubesch
Sammy Kubesch’s academic foundation includes three bachelor’s degrees, three master’s degrees in STEM fields, and an MBA. Currently, he is pursuing dual doctorates in Finance and Engineering, demonstrating a commitment to interdisciplinary expertise and innovation.
As an educator, Sammy teaches courses on topics such as Ethics in Engineering, Construction Methods and Techniques, and Sanitary Systems and Aqueducts. Professionally, he specializes in construction inspections, water intrusion testing, roof assessments, and illumination studies.
He is also focused on sustainable urban planning solutions, integrating geomatics and finance to provide data-driven strategies for developers and government entities.
Sammy’s dedication to advocacy and collaboration supports their mission to promote transparency and accountability within the timeshare and resort development industry. While not a timeshare owner, Sammy is committed to aggressively advocating for individuals who have been harmed by deceptive timeshare practices.
